A work on memory and nostalgia as a collective bond, passed down orally through the generations, IN CONTROLUCE is also a work on the relationship between space and time and how space and time can be reunited in unexpected ways. 

The project unfolds in the story of Lucia, born in Val di Non in the 1960s, who has been weaving the threads of the memory of emigration for some time, preserving and reactivating relations with the descendants of Irene's family (who emigrated to the USA at the beginning of the last century), the person who took care of her and brought her up from an early age. At the same time, it is the story of a journey of reconstruction of memories starting with her biological mother, who died early, and of a new sharing of life with her family of origin.
It is therefore the story of a reunited distance where space is not seen as a dividing line but as a territory of redemption and hope. A fertile, present and existential place.

Lavoro sulla memoria e sulla nostalgia come legame collettivo, tramandato oralmente attraverso le generazioni,  IN CONTROLUCE anche un lavoro sul rapporto dello spazio e del tempo e di come spazio e tempo possano ricongiungersi in modo inaspettato. 

Il progetto si sviluppa nel racconto della storia di Lucia, nata in Val di Non negli anni ‘60, che da tempo tesse i fili della memoria dell'emigrazione custodendo e riattivando i rapporti con i discendenti dei familiari di Irene (emigrati negli USA all’inizio dello scorso secolo), persona che si è presa cura di lei e l’ha cresciuta sin da piccola. Al contempo è il racconto di un percorso di ricostruzione dei ricordi a partire dalla sua madre biologica, precocemente scomparsa e di nuova condivisione di vita con la sua famiglia di origine.
